Frequently asked questions

What does "design-build" mean?

Design-build means one company handles the whole project, from design through construction. The owner does not have to coordinate separate architects, engineers and contractors. Streamline Precision designs, builds and equips a project under one roof, which keeps the schedule tight.

Do you manufacture your own equipment, or just build buildings?

Both. Streamline Precision's own shop designs and builds conveyors, material-handling systems and custom food-processing equipment, then installs it in the buildings it constructs. One company can design, build and equip a plant.

What areas do you serve?

Streamline Precision is based in Burley, Idaho, and works across the Magic Valley: Rupert, Heyburn, Paul, Declo, Twin Falls, Jerome, Cassia County and Minidoka County. Some completed projects are outside Idaho. Call to talk about a project in another state.

What types of buildings do you build?

Steel, tilt-up and insulated metal panel buildings. Streamline builds them for dairies, food plants, grain and commodity storage, farm buildings, and community buildings such as schools, event centers and fire stations.

Do you handle excavation and underground utilities yourselves?

Yes. Streamline does its own excavation, demolition, rock removal, pond building, and trenching for pipe, cable and water lines, with its own crews and equipment. The dirt work is scheduled right alongside the building work.

Can you take on just one part of a project, or does it have to be turnkey?

Either. Many clients use Streamline for the whole job, from design through construction. The company also takes on excavation, equipment fabrication or construction on its own.
